2017年11月4日，應(yīng)湯庸教授邀請(qǐng)，香港理工大學(xué)教授、IEEE Fellow曹建農(nóng)教授和中山大學(xué)數(shù)據(jù)科學(xué)與計(jì)算機(jī)學(xué)院、院長(zhǎng)助理、超算專項(xiàng)辦公室主任吳維剛教授訪問(wèn)SCHOLAT實(shí)驗(yàn)室，大家進(jìn)行了簡(jiǎn)短交流。
曹建農(nóng)教授還為計(jì)算機(jī)學(xué)院師生做了“Towards Smart Internet-of-Things”的學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告，深入淺出地介紹了智能物聯(lián)網(wǎng)的概念、技術(shù)和應(yīng)用，展示的許多最新研究成果。華南師范大學(xué)計(jì)算機(jī)學(xué)院蔣運(yùn)承教授主持了互動(dòng)環(huán)節(jié)。曹教授一一回答了師生的問(wèn)題，與大家分享了學(xué)習(xí)和研究方法，大家受益匪淺。
曹建農(nóng)教授簡(jiǎn)介：IEEE Fellow，香港理工大學(xué)教授，香港理工大學(xué)計(jì)算科學(xué)系互聯(lián)網(wǎng)和移動(dòng)計(jì)算實(shí)驗(yàn)室主任，香港理工大學(xué)大數(shù)據(jù)分析中心實(shí)驗(yàn)室主任。
Dr. Cao is currently a Chair Professor of Department of Computing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong. He is also the director of the Internet and Mobile Computing Lab in the department and the director of University’s Research Facility in Big Data Analytics. His research interests include parallel and distributed computing, wireless sensing and networks, pervasive and mobile computing, and big data and cloud computing. He has co-authored 5 books in Mobile Computing and Wireless Sensor Networks, co-edited 9 books, and published over 500 papers in major international journals and conference proceedings. He served the Chair of theTechnical Committee on Distributed Computing of IEEE Computer Society 2012-2014, a member of IEEE Fellows Evaluation Committee of the Computer Society and the Reliability Society, a member of IEEE Computer Society Education Awards Selection Committee, a member of IEEE Communications Society Awards Committee, and a member of Steering Committee of IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing. Dr. Cao has served as chairs and members of organizing and technical committees of many international conferences, and as associate editor and member of the editorial boards of many international journals. Dr. Cao is a fellow of IEEE and ACM distinguished member.
